Overview
Tamper Evident Tape provides a security seal for letters, bags, cartons, pallets or other containers. After application, when removed the security tape will self destruct leaving words or symbols on the package and in the security tape itself.
The tape featured on this page has a paper backing; it is not self wound.
The tape is packaged in a roll dispenser box.
Using scissors, cut the tape to length.
To apply the tape, remove the liner backing paper to expose the adhesive.
Then apply to the surface manually.
If the tape is removed after application, the tape will leave an adhesive residue on the applied surface. The residue can be removed with a household adhesive remover such as “Goo-Gone”, “orange-sol”, etc.
The graphics for the tamper evident “OPENED” feature shown is a fair representation. However, the actual “OPENED” graphic may vary by size, orientation, alternating forward and backwards reading, backwards reading, include upper and lower case, font, etc. If the graphic layout and format is critical, please inquire for more details prior to placing your order.
For the silver tape, the tamper evident feature is a “dots” geometric pattern.
The silver metalized tape also features an optional security grade hologram (SECURE image). The holographic tape must be imprinted with a unique logo, text, or serial number. Hologram, imprinted graphics and serial number will repeat every 6 inches or in 6 inch increments.
For imprinting the RED tape and silver blank tape, the recommended repeat spacing is 6 inches. However, other repeat spacing is available upon special request ranging from 2 inches to 12 inches.
Custom imprinting is applied onto the tape film surface using a durable black ink which is resistant to abrasion and mild chemicals.
Custom colors, widths, and holograms are also available on request.
