When removed, the security sticker will self-destruct to indicate that the security seal has been broken. The S05 and STV19 stickers leave a medium amount of adhesive residue on the affixed surface.

Our security seals are designed to show signs of tamper evidence immediately if removed after application. Unlike competitive products, there is no waiting period for the tamper evidence feature to become active.

The hidden tamper evident pattern for the S05 stickers is a 'dots' pattern. The STV19 stickers feature a VOID pattern.

Our silver metallic security stickers are compatible with most material surfaces. Visit the Recommended Surfaces by material type comparison table for help determining which security stickers will work best for you.

However, medium residue security stickers may not be compatible with materials having a low surface strength -- such as recycled cardboard, pressed cardboard, pallet film, etc. When removed from these surfaces, the adhesive will tear the surface and not activate the tamper evident feature. For these applications, we recommend a high residue security sticker (our S28 products).

Our silver metallic products are suitable for use indoors or outdoors.

Most of our silver metallic stickers (those suffixed with AA) feature a premium grade adhesive. They can be initially affixed in cold weather -- as low as +10F. After affixing, the stickers are suitable for temperatures ranging from -40F to + 200F.

The silver metallic stickers may not be suitable for printed circuit boards (or other electrical applications). The silver metallic layer is conductive.

The graphics for the hidden tamper evident feature (DOTS, OPENED, VOID, etc) shown is a fair representation. However, the actual hidden graphic may vary by size, orientation, alternating forward and backwards reading, backwards reading, include upper and lower case, font, etc. Also, the graphic may change on future orders. If the graphic layout for the hidden pattern is critical, please inquire for more details prior to placing your order.
