Barrier seals provide the maximum protection for shipping cargo via trucks and containers.
Barrier seals are installed on the keeper bars of the shipping container doors to secure both doors.
They are easy to install and require no special tools.
The barrier seal resists physical attack from saws, cutting sheers, bolt cutters, levering by crowbar, impact by hammer, etc.
These seals can only be removed using a cutting wheel, which normally takes about 20 minutes.
Barrier seals are a one-time use product.
For added security, all of our barrier seals have matching serial numbers on key components.

BarLock® Seal (MS-BarLock)
The BarLock® Barrier Seal includes 3 components:
- LOCKING BAR
The 1-piece locking bar (5/16 inch thick steel x 1.25 inch wide) fits keeper bar spacing ranging from 2.25 inches to 12.625 inches center-to-center.
- ROD CUPS
Two seamless 3/16 inch thick rod cups -- each with serial numbers that match the locking bar number.
- LOCKING PIN
The .32 inch diameter locking pin.
Rated High Security ("H" grade) as rated by ISO/PAS 17712 and is C-TPAT compliant.
Orders for 1 to 4 units are shipped as individually packed seals. The lowest price for individually packed seals is shown in the "1 seal" column below.
Full cases of 5 seals and are sold in full cases. This packaging configuration is being phased out.
Orders for full cases of 10 or more seals are sold in full cases only.

Navalock® Barrier Seal (MS-MKIIIA)
The Navalock® Barrier Seal includes 3 components:
- LOCKING BAR
The 2-piece locking bar (.25 inch thick steel) fits keeper bar spacing ranging from 7.25 inches to 14.375 inches center-to-center.
- LOCKING PIN
A locking pin (.5 inch diameter) with locking mechanism (serial numbered) permanently couples the 2-piece locking bar assembly.
- CABLE SEAL
The 12 inch long cable (.125 inch diameter) with locking mechanism (matching serial number) is threaded with the door latch. This cable provides a dual purpose:- Secures the door latch (a separate bolt seal is not required)
- Secures the locking bar by restricting its movement; if the underlying keeper bars are cut, the locking bar will not mask the cut.
