 
OverviewOur security badges combine three security features to reduce the risk of unauthorized badges and eliminate the need to collect used visitor badges: 1. Our security badges feature the "TIMEbadge" technology, which automatically voids the temporary ID badge after one day. 2. For added security, we recommend custom imprinted badges with your company name or logo. 3. For the best security, our premium security badges include a hologram, which guards against a counterfeit copy of the custom imprinted TIMEbadge. The premium badges feature the sweep hologram image with an imprint of a lock in red ink.
This imprinted hologram is only available on our premium TIMEbadge. Typical applications include visitor badges, temporary employee badges, vendor badges, contractor badges, convention badges, or other one-day events.
A one-day TIMEbadge issued in the morning will remain white for most of the day. The color change is gradual with light pink bars becoming visible by late afternoon. After 8 hours the bars will be a darker pink, which signals that the badge has expired.
The TIMEbadge feature is simple and easy to activate:
Once activated, the expiration process cannot be stopped or reversed. Even if an attempt is made to separate the two parts, the TIMEbadge will continue to change color.
The name on the ID badge is printed on the top ply; it can be printed with ink or felt tip pen. For high volume applications, the names can be thermal printed.
The visitor badge has an adhesive backing for affixing directly to fabric.
The visitor badge has an adhesive backing, which should NOT be directly applied to leather, suede, vinyl, silk or other delicate fabrics. For delicate fabrics we recommend affixing the visitor badge adhesive to the optional backer, then fasten the backer to fabric using a “clip-on” or use a lanyard to hold the backer.
The TIMEbadge feature is best suited for applications where temperatures consistently range from 65F to 75F. Colder temperatures will lengthen the time for the pink bars to appear; warmer temperatures will shorten the time to reveal the pink bars. Other NovaVision Products (click for more info):
