The label film is receptive to marking using an ink pen or permanent marker. This allows additional customizations such as a hand-written serial number, date, file number, contents label, personal signature, etc.

The blue, red and green colors are translucent, so printed information under the label is also visible.

SecureGuard products are offered in 3 versions:

1. Stock Non Residue Labels

Stock SecureGuard labels have a pre-assigned unique serial number for added security.

Stock labels are only available in red and with a black imprint.

Offered in rolls of 250 or 1000, stock labels are the most affordable for small quantity projects. Quantity discounts apply to orders of 3,000 labels or more.

The stock labels are available for immediate shipment -- ideal for RUSH projects.

2. Custom Imprinted Non Residue Labels

A custom imprint adds security.

SecureGuard labels can be imprinted with your custom text, logo, or serial number in black ink or other optional ink color (green, blue, red, or white).

Custom imprinted labels are available in 4 background colors (red, blue, green & black) which along with the optional ink colors provide a means for color coding.

Bar codes imprinted (with black ink) directly on the red material are readable and will verify at a 'C' grade. However, bar codes printed directly on the blue, green or black material do not read well.

If a higher bar code grade is needed, choose one of the labels (SSG21-48RE, SSG21-48BL, SSG21-48GN, SSG21-48K) with the white panel.

For the customized imprint, our standard process is to print custom text, logos and serial numbers on the surface of the label using thermal transfer resin ribbons. The thermal inks are durable to mechanical abrasion, scratching and most liquids ans are suitable for most applications. However, thermal printed inks can be removed with certain solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or lotions containing alcohol.

Some labels feature a center perforation designed for applications with a hinged door. The center perforation will break when the door is opened, for added security.

3. Custom Size & Imprinted Seals

SecureGuard material is also available in 2 inch widths and cut to your custom length. Lengths may range from 0.25 inch to 39.0 inches.

Custom length material is available in red or blue background color. The stock imprint color is black, but we offer optional imprint colors too.

If wrapping around the edge of a box, a narrow and long rectangle works best.

To block a mobile phone camera, the .5 x 1.875 inch label is compatible with most phones.

*Note: For finished surfaces, test in an inconspicuous area first. If the finished surface is not securely bonded, the finish may be removed or damaged when the label is removed.
