Bolt Security Seal
High Security Bolt Seals
Bolt security seals are very durable and intended for higher security applications.
All of our bolt seals qualify as a "High Security Seal" and comply with ISO 17712.
Also, all of our bolt seals are manufactured in facilities which are C-TPAT compliant.
Our premium bolt seals include these additional featues and benefits:
'Anti-spin' feature provides added security to prevent un-authorized entry.
Longer exposed bolt for added access and convenience to cut the bolt for removal.

The bolt is inserted into the barrel locking mechanism, where the metal bolt snaps into place within a metal locking cylinder.

Bolt Seal After Use (MS-B2Y)
The bolt and metal locking cylinder are encased in plastic, which is designed to show signs of tampering. If attacked with a heat source, the plastic will discolor and/or melt.
Both the bolt and barrel have matching serial numbers, which are laser etched into the plastic covering.
For added security, we recommend the bolt seal be customized with your custom text or logo.
The maximum recommended locking diameter (the hole in the hasp) is shown in the specifications. For larger hasp openings, add heavy duty metallic washers (with minimum .4 inch diameter hole) on either end of the bolt seal.

Installation Instructions:
1. If installed vertically, position locking barrel at the bottom
2. Rotate the locking barrel and bolt so the serial numbers are aligned on the same side
3. Push the bolt into the locking barrel until the locking mechanism snaps
4. Pull on the bolt & barrel to confirm the locking mechanism is engaged
5. A bolt cutter is required to remove the bolt seal. Wear safety glasses when removing.
