Plastic Adjustable Security Seals

A) Intended Use

Plastic seals are used to mechanically secure a variety of containers. Typical applications include truck doors, trailer doors, railcar doors, totes, valves, coin bags, inner drum bags, crime scene evidence storage bags, and any container with a hasp or loops.


B) Installation Instructions

  1. Thread the strap through the side of the opening marked ENTER
  2. Push/pull the strap through the locking mechanism
  3. For the MS-A1 and MS-A2, use the tightening tool to assist pulling the strap. Do not overtighten.
  4. For sealing bags (using MS-A1, MS-A2 or MS-A3), cinch the strap tightly to assure the nail grips are embedded into the bag material
  5. Removal:
    - MS-A1 & MS-A2: use side tear-tab to remove manually (no tool required), or cut with wire cutters
    - MS-A3: use side tear-tab to remove manually (no tool required), or cut with scissors
    - MS-A4: break manually (low break strength) or cut with scissors
  6. This is a one time use product, which can be recycled. The MS-A1 and MS-A2 is all plastic (no metal). For the MS-A3 and MS-A4, the locking
    mechanism contains metal; trim the plastic as needed if the metal cannot be recycled with the plastic.
