Non Residue Tamper Evidence
The 'Plastic-Guard' non-residue labels featured on this page are specifically designed for low-energy surfaces, such as textured plastics, powder-coated paint, plastic bags, etc.
The non-residue feature
eliminates the time and material to clean up the sticky adhesive residue typical of conventional security labels.
When removed, the hidden pattern OPENED VOID will appear in the film, but it leaves no residue on the affixed surface.

Plastic-Guard labels are suitable for indoor or outdoor applications.
These labels require an imprint; for security purposes, these labels are not sold blank.
The price for custom imprinting includes your custom text. Unique serial numbers and bar codes are available at no addtional charge. Other options include custom graphics or a logo.
The label surface is receptive to marking by a permanent marker. This allows additional customizations such as a hand-written date, file number, contents label, personal signature, etc.
If Plastic-Guard labels are used on a high energy surface (glass, bare metal, etc), the non-residue feature will revert to a residue feature.
Because of the high-tack adhesive, Plastic-Guard labels can also be used as conventional security labels, which will leave an adhesive residue.
Currently, Plastic-Guard labels are only available in Blue.
Choosing A Non Residue Security Label:
Stock labels are available with pre-assigned serial numbers (in black ink) for immediate shipment.
Custom imprinted labels provide more security. Allow 1 week for custom printing. Optional RUSH service is available.
Three stock die cut sizes are available. The minimum order for custom die cut labels is 25,000 labels; allow 3 weeks.
Custom imprinted seals are also available in 2 inch widths cut to custom lengths-- minimum .25 inch and maximum 39 inch length.
The standard imprint color is black. Optional imprint colors are: red, blue and green.
If wrapping the label around a box corner (or to seal a plastic cap and bottle), a long and narrow rectangle is best.
Blue Stock Security Label
For added security, SecureGuard labels can be imprinted with your custom text, logo, or serial number in black ink or other optional ink color. Custom imprinted labels are available in red or blue.

For the customized imprint, our standard process is to print custom text, logos and serial numbers on the surface of the label using thermal transfer resin ribbons. The thermal inks are durable to mechanical abrasion, scratching and most liquids. However, thermal printed inks can be removed with certain solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or lotions containing alcohol.
Although the surface imprint is durable for most applications, we also offer an optional clear film lamination to fully protect the custom imprint from all types of chemical exposure. Please call for special pricing for laminated labels.
*Note: For finished surfaces, test in an inconspicuous area first. If the finished surface is not securely bonded, the finish may be removed or damaged when the label is removed.

3. Custom Imprinted Seals: 2 inch wide x Custom Length
Plastic-Guard Seals must include a unique custom imprint. For security purposes, this product is not sold blank.
Seals are custom printed on 2 inch wide material and then cut to your custom length (1/4 inch increments). The finished seals have square corners.
These seals also include a "crack and peel" feature on the backside for ease in removing the paper backing.
Pricing shown includes your custom text and serial number in black ink. Options include a custom logo/graphic and other colored imprint (red, blue or green).
