You can print your own high quality plastic ID cards, here's what you need to get started:
- ID card printer (we recommend FARGO ID Card printers).
- Ribbons & cleaning supplies.
- ID Cards (blank or pre-printed).
- Software to customize ID card layout.
- Computer (which you supply).
- Camera (if you wish to include a picture on your cards).
- Cables to connect printer, camera and computer.

Most digital cameras today are compatible with the above software, including inexpensive "web cams" readily available at office supply stores such as Staples and Office Max. The only requirement is that they support the TWAIN imaging format and have a USB interface. If you would like NovaVision

A wide range of PC's will work well with the above software. If picture ID's are planned, computer should have a USB port in order to connect to the camera.
Cables:
Connecting the computer to the printer (parallel port cable
required).
Connecting the optional digital camera to the computer (USB
cable, most often supplied with camera).
